Two prints on Dungeness, England 2006 and the 2009 Disintegration.
Named Dungeness A and B after the twin Magnox reactors A and B in Dungeness these prints were made just before the decommissioning of the nuclear power stations. A rusty can is compare with battered scampi, couples picnicking, families playing cricket, bumper car rides, found objects, and baron landscapes help make up these images. A couple sharing the weight of an cooler bag walk towards the twin power stations in front of a list of that days bird sightings, 27th July, 7 adult Yellow-legged, 3 Little Gulls and 2 Mediterranean Gulls (juv, 2nd yr). 1st autumn Willow Warbler arrived. In the centre of Dungeness A is the bright yellow lid of a tupperware bowl, which Holden thought looked like a sun, a common symbol used by energy companies as a logo. The colour Yellow runs through these pictures from the chips on sea food platter to the legs of the 7 sighted adult gulls.
